Corel WordPerfect README Introduction

The Corel WordPerfect README files provide
information that has not yet been included in
the printed documentation, as well as technical
information that is specific to a particular
Linux version or environment.

Because the README files in the Corel WordPerfect
wpbin directory are Linux text files, you can view
and print them using Linux system commands.

README.errata.wp

Documents changes to the Corel WordPerfect
Installation Guide and Corel WordPerfect User's
Guide that have occurred since these manuals were
printed.

README.license

Provides the complete text of the U.S.A. Software
License Agreement governing the use of Corel
WordPerfect.

README.os.<os>

Covers information specific to the version of Linux
running on your system that can be helpful in
managing your Corel WordPerfect installation.

README.wpsahelp

Introduces online Corel WordPerfect SysAdmin Help
as a supplement to the printed Corel WordPerfect
Installation Guide.

README.trs

Lists terminals currently supported for Corel
WordPerfect, their WPTERM? settings, and other
information to assist you in setting up
character-based terminals.

README.wpmagic

Explains how to use the Corel WordPerfect entries
from the /<WPdir>/shlib10/wpmagic file in
connection with the Linux file command.

Describes how a third-party address book can be
used with Corel WordPerfect.

SDK Documentation

The WordPerfect version 8 for Unix CDROM also
includes the WordPerfect 8 Software Developer's
Kit (SDK) in the SDK directory.  See the SDK
documentation in the SDK directory, on your CDROM,
for information about using the Developer Kit.
The WordPerfect 8 install does not copy the SDK to
your local hard drive.  For a local copy you will
need to copy the SDK from the CDROM.

Updates and Patches

Some of the features in this product are not
documented in the help files which were shipped
with this product.  New help file updates and
